Our Chef Tasting Experience is a five-course, tapas-style, social experience. And, it's not your standard stuffy chef's tasting table experience, we pride ourselves on offering a playful dinner affair that creates friendships and delights our guests.
Our Chef's Tastings are offered in our Private Dining Room in Moorestown and at our Sharing-Table in our Lounge in Atlantic City.
Here's what to expect:
- a Ryfe tasting-team member will greet you with a welcome cocktail and escort you to your seat/room
- you will mingle and meet, at your discretion, other tasting guests as they arrive
- the Ryfe tasting-team lead will kick-off the event with a group welcome toast and a brief description of the items included in that evenings tasting
- you are chaperoned through a five-course culinary tasting-tour that includes wine and/or liquor tasting pairings with each course
- 'each item has a story and each story has a purpose' - as we talk about the culinary offerings and libations in a fun and educational way that sets our tasting apart
- your tasting experience concludes with a chef-selected dessert, a digestif, and a personal thank you and toast by Chef Marvin
Our menu is seasonal, can change on short-notice, and includes items like:
- Stuffed Lump Crab, Asiago, & Spinach Cremini
- Fried Goat Cheese with Chili-Infused Agave
- Miso Black Cod
- Tableside Tomahawk Steak
- NY-style Cheesecake with Cherry Reduction
The experience is $69 per person plus applicable taxes and gratuity.
Our Chef's Tasting experience happens all year round, every Saturday in Moorestown at 7p, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend every Friday and Saturday in Atlantic City, and you can book a private chef's tasting for your group (8 or more). Just send us a note via our private events page.

The Chef - Marvin Zuniga is a self-made and self-taught culinary maestro, His South American heritage can often be seen, smelled and tasted in his dishes but his true gift is his ability to re-imagine cuisines from all over the world. He has won multiple awards for his work in Atlantic City including Best Seafood Chef and Up-And-Comers to Watch. Maybe Chef Marvin's greatest gift is his zest for life and the pride he takes in making dishes that his guests love.
Attire - Smart-casual is the suggested attire as many guests book a tasting experience as part of a special occasion. Collared shirts and pants with optional blazer for the guys and dress or other fashion-forward wear for the ladies.
Start time - Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your tasting start time. Tastings begin promptly and are not delayed for late arrivals. If your course is missed due to tardiness we cannot remake it when you arrive.
Quantity - This is a 5 course tasting and is designed to be a full meal once completed. If at the conclusion of the tasting you would like additional quantities we can offer them on select tasting items or additional items at no charge. Note: This almost never happens.
Libations - The alcoholic pairings are tasting sizes of one half to two ounces depending on the items included. If you'd like more of the paired item, they are purchased at a discounted rate as part of the tasting experience.
Duration - Every tasting is unique based on the guests engagement and size but overall most tastings are completed in about two hours.
